Golden Wok is a Chinese restaurant on Wurzbach Road. Now the owners are in a heated legal battle.

The business and former romantic partners of popular Chinese restaurants Golden Wok and China Rose are now claiming fraud against each other. Here's what you need to know.

Wai Hung “Kenneth” Lau, 70, is suing his former business partner of over 40 years, Constance “Connie” Andrews, 83, claiming she misappropriated more than $2.8 million from shared bank accounts for the restaurants, the Express-News reports. Lau and Andrews managed both restaurants and formed a relationship to the point where they would call each other husband and wife despite not being married.

Lau's allegations come seven months after Andrews' lawsuit claiming Lau also misappropriated assets using her share of partnership distributions to buy real estate in his name. Andrews wanted $2 million in damages. With both allegations lobbed, Lau has taken the extra step of obtaining a restraining order preventing Andrews from withdrawing from those accounts.
